A Warm Welcome to October!
Hello ladies! Grab a warm cup of coffee or tea, put on your long pants and settle in. October is officially here, bringing less humidity and if we were living in the north there would be beautiful and colorful leaves.
I am so grateful for the warmth, laughter, and support of Encore women. Did you know that in Old England, October was originally called Winmonath? That translates directly to "Wine Month" because it was the time of year dedicated to harvesting grapes and making wine.I think our historic sisters had the right idea!
Let's raise a glass to a beautiful month ahead. Here’s to another wonderful month of connections and sharing.
Let's make this autumn unforgettable! The Pumpkin Craze: Over half of the total population buys a fresh pumpkin during this single month. However, the very first Jack-o'-lanterns weren't made from pumpkins at all—ancient Celts originally carved them out of large turnips!

Cruise will run from 11AM- 1 PM but must arrive by 10 AM for boarding since seating is first come, first served. After the cruise, those who are interested will have lunch (at your own expense) at O’Leary’s Tiki Bar. Boarding for cruise is adjacent to Marina Jack and parking is available. Mail reservation form and payment, $55 per person to arrive no later than September 12 to secure your spot.
