Selah Freedom
The Community Outreach Team is excited and pleased to announce Selah Freedom has been chosen as our charity this year.
Selah Freedom is an anti-human trafficking non-profit organization501(c) 3. They are based in Florida and in the Midwest, with the mission to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to the exploited through five strong programs: Awareness, Prevention, Outreach, Residential and Consulting.
Sex Trafficking does hit home as Florida is the third state in the nation for sex trafficking. It was reported that 87% of survivors who graduate from their Residential & Outreach programs do not return to "the life". Encore members will get the opportunity to tour and hear more about their programs and how we can help them with this important mission.
The Community Outreach Team would also like to support Satchel's Last Resort by donating treats for both cats and dogs at the October luncheon.
Satchel's is a no-kill animal shelter/sanctuary whose mission is to Rescue, Rehab & Rehome dogs and cats.
Please bring in: pup-peroni treats (look for BOGOs at Publix, Winn-Dixie) cardboard scratch boxes and/or treats for cats.
